Fairy tale castle

  • Step 1: Print out the template you want. You can choose between a winter or a summer fairy tale castle. Paint your window. Stick the template behind the window pane from the outside and attach it with washi tape.
  • Step 2: Draw the template on the inside. Only the white STABILO woody 3 in 1 is used here - but it works with all woody colors if you would like to have it colorful.
  • Step 3: Remove the template from the window pane again and correct small mistakes or imperfections with a damp cloth or cotton swab if necessary. It may also be a little "imperfect", so do not stress.

Advent calendar

Advent calendar

  • Step 1: Press the toilet paper roll flat and use a folding leg or ruler to smooth the edges. If you have strong fingernails, you can of course use them to flatten the edges. Remember, you will need to do all the steps 24 times in total...so it will take some time.
  • Step 2: Round the edges of the toilet paper rolls at the top and bottom. Use a round object slightly larger than the toilet paper roll as a template. This step will make it easier for you to fold the pillow box later.
  • Step 3: Paint the front and back of the toilet paper rolls with different colors and patterns. If you have a lot of time and feel like it, you can of course paint the entire surface of the rolls.
  • Step 4: Fold the toilet paper rolls into a pillow box by pressing in the rounded openings. Fill them as you like, e.g. with sweets, pretty messages on paper ...
  • Step 5: Close the pillow box again and fix it with a ribbon that is a little longer at the ends. This is where you will hang the little packages later on the branch/twig.
  • Step 6: Cut out 24 round circles from the black colored paper. Use a glue roll or other round object as a template. You can also cut another toilet paper roll short and use that as a template.
  • Step 7: Label the black circles with the numbers 1 - 24 using the woody 3 in 1 pens in gold and silver, but also in white.
  • Step 8: Tape the labeled circles over the ribbon on the pillow box so you can easily read the numbers. When all 24 packages are ready, you can hang them in different heights on a branch or twig and give someone great joy... gladly also yourself.
