Introducing our own range of sustainable, high-quality pencils made from renewable woods is an important step in increasing environmental protection. In this, STABILO works closely together with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which certifies the pencils in the STABILO GREEN line.

The FSC (http://www.fsc.org) is an international, non-profit organisation that works to ensure the sustainable exploitation of forests.

Together with the FSC, STABILO supports initiatives designed to

  ensure the long-term, environmentally defensible use of wood as a raw material.

The FSC seal of approval is awarded to forestry businesses, but also to entire manufacturing processes. STABILO ensures that every working step in the production chain meets the strict requirements of the FSC.

STABILO became the first wooden pencil producer to be FSC-certified (no. 139) many years ago, making it a pioneer in the support of controlled, ecologically responsible forestry operations, with renewable woods.
